Founded by Mr. Richard who used to present his collections at the Lido, the brand owes its famous rubber soles to a trip to the United States in the 1920s and its name to the contraction of the word “Para” (name of an Amazonian port from which latex was exported) and “boot”.

Still in the hands of the same family and made in France (Isère), Paraboot is distinguished by its soles in Goodyear and Norwegian stitching for perfect waterproofness, the latter reminding us that Paraboot has long-manufactured technical shoes (skiing, skydiving, volcanism…).
